Explore, discover and learn about the power of sound as a healing and transformational tool through fun practical exercises and enjoying lots of sonic experiences!! Sound healing is one of the oldest forms of medicine and is experiencing a rebirth as more people become attuned to the knowledge of vibration, frequency and our connections to it.
We will mainly work with Tibetan singing bowls and voice (no “singing” involved) to:
•Learn about the fundamentals of sound healing
•Practice how to use sound healing for yourself and others
•Experience bowl playing techniques and discover your healing voice
•Be immersed in the beauty and richness of sound during a gentle sound bath which will also include other sound healing instruments such as crystal bowls, gongs and flutes. No prior experience necessary.
Led By Suzanne Harris from Soundsphere and Anthar Kharana from Tribal Sound Healing (www.tribalsoundhealing.com), both fully qualified Sound Therapy Practitioners from the British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST)
Venue: Salisbury Centre, 2 Salisbury Road, Edinburgh, EH16 5AB.
